The End of Economic Growth

This morning The Wall Street Journal & The New York Times were discussing the COVID baby bust. The Brookings Institute had projected that we could see 300,000 fewer births thanks to COVID-19.
Coincidently, I saw earlier today over at Marginal Revolution a link to Chad Jones’s recent policy seminar, “The End of Economic Growth Unintended Consequences of a Declining Population.” Economic growth has always been tied to a growing population. So what happens when our population starts declining? Will the economy stop growing too?
